Frequently Asked Questions

The Guru Lead Crusher will not install on my Mac.
With the recent update for Mac users to install Mavericks for free there has now been an issue that has arisen.

You may see the message that the Mac says that the app you have downloaded is broken and needs to be moved to the trash or it will not allow the program to run.

If you see this message please follow the steps below.

  1. Start your Mac.
  2. Click on the apple button in the top left corner of your screen.
  3. Go to System Preferences and now you see a number of icons.
  4. On the top row you will see Security & Privacy, click this icon.
  5. On the bottom half of the window it says "Allow apps downloaded from:" and you need to change this to Anywhere.
  6. If you are unable to edit this you will need to click on the lock in the bottom left hand corner of the window to unlock the screen so you can make changes.

Another solution while maintaining higher security for your computer is to hold your control key down while clicking on the app icon, which will open a dialogue box and you will choose open.

This will add the app to an exception list.

If these do not solve the issue please submit a ticket. There are antivirus programs that need to have an exception set.
